About Bill

Bill Bence is a seasoned logistics executive with deep expertise in less-than-truckload (LTL) operations, pricing, and network design. As SVP of LTL at Warp, he leads the development of modern LTL strategies that bring speed, reliability, and transparency to the middle mile.

Early Start in Logistics

Bill started his career in traditional LTL operations, working inside terminals and managing regional networks before moving into leadership roles across pricing and operations. That ground-up experience gave him a firsthand view of both the strengths and limitations of legacy LTL systems.

Built from the Ground Up

With decades of experience across national carriers and freight tech platforms, Bill has helped shape some of the most complex LTL strategies in the industry. At Warp, he blends traditional operational rigor with new technology to create LTL models that actually fit modern shipper needs.

Vision for the Future

Bill believes the next generation of LTL will be defined by transparency, elasticity, and integrated tech. He’s focused on rethinking the middle mile so that shippers aren’t forced to choose between speed, cost, and visibility—they can have all three.
